But Rom has two secrets. One is that he "hears voices" that tell him that certain people are evil. He struggles with this, and can sometimes "argue" with the voices, whom he knows he must keep secret. The other secret is that
he has already killed 4 "bad people" thatthe voices have pointed out to him. This he does with cunning and stealth.
Rom is a homicidal psychopath. But a vey kind and personable one, who is cautious and will defer to the whims of the majority. He will ofetn times remain neutral in arguments and will usually try to find peace and compromise as often as possible.
He is eager to please people, but not overtly. He is very aware of peronalities and can read people VERY well. Especially those who like him, have secrets. He is always on the lookout for involuntary facial quirks and body language that might let him read someone without them noticing him.
He is much more a pyschologist and a reader of body language than he is a Ranger. The Ranger thing he just does to fit in and pay the biils.
